| Professor Ajayan Vinu is worldwide one of the leading material chemists in his generation, worldwide.
He got his scientific eductation in India and in Saarbrücken/Germany.
Currently, he is the director of an International Joint Laboratory at the National Institute of Material Science /Tsukuba, Japan.
Ajayan Vinu got famous for his novel syntheses of regular mesoporous carbons, but also for the integrasation of enzymes into inorganic solid state structures, creating functional and valuable hybrids.
Professor Ajayan Vinu is hosted by Professor Markus Antonietti at the Max Planck Institute of Celloids and Interfaces in Golm. |
